Mama - We See You

Dear Mama,

We see you.

And we thank you for every moment you invest in guiding your child closer to Jesus. We pray with you for the beautiful soul God has entrusted to you.

May you press into Jesus this Mother's Day and may the Holy Spirit fill you with the Lord's strength as we face another year. Arm in arm. Battling for our children together. Because it is a battle. Not against our children but against the enemy who wants to break them.

Mama, we see you, fighting in prayer. Mama, we see you, your joys and fears. Mama, we stand with you - and with Christ who is victorious - and we celebrate with you.

A day to recognise that the greatest work a Mama can do will always be on her knees and in God's Word.

'Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.'

Remember, precious mama, God hand-picked YOU to be the mother of your child—and He knows best. Centre your life on Him and He’ll direct your steps, supplying everything you need, at every stage, to raise your child just as He intends. - Susan Brown

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:

Dear Mother, when was the last time you looked in the mirror and told yourself that you may not be perfect but you’re doing ok? When was the last time you gave yourself the same level of grace that you extend to others? When was the last time you gave God permission to whisper into your heart and tell you that you are valued, cherished and loved, regardless of all the mistakes you’ve made? Let this Mother’s Day remind you to let go of all your striving, perfection and being too hard on yourself, and bring a remembrance of how deep and how wide God’s unconditional love is for YOU. - Wendy Parker

'May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth be joyful!'

Dear Mama, remember, motherhood is not a job. It's a ministry. We see you. But most importantly, God sees you. - Elizabeth Chapman
